Finally watching the Sens beat the Habs at the most crucial time of the season, what could be better....well, beating the Leafs WHEN they actually have a chance to make the playoffs would be but....you know we can't have that...( for several years now ).....

Montreal has to do one thing that will help them make the playoffs!! Change starting goaltenders. Carey Price needs a fresh start and that is NEXT SEASON. How many chances does a person need to turn over a new leaf anyways?? Halak is the better goaltender, he has proved it numerous times this year. Reason why?? He's older and more responsible. I think this team is going nowhere fast and they have had the chance to fix it.

But there is so many questions surrounding this team it's pathetic. The trade deadline came and went with no major additions or subtractions from the core(I don't count schneider as a major trade sorry guys). Was that a good choice?
Was getting rid of Guy Carbonneau the right choice? Is partying all the time and being acquaintences with local mobsters a wise choice?? Is kovalev bad performance costing the team? Is giving Carey Price the nod in goal night after night even after he loses over and over again the right choice? Is the pressure in montreal mounting for a run on the 100th anniversary? Is Bob Gainey's job on the line if montreal doesn't go far down the stretch run?

But will montreal make the playoffs is the biggest question right now!!

I am on the fence for this question because the habs are a rollercoster team right now. Last week they win a couple games, the next week they lose a couple of games. They are tied for 8th seed with the hurricanes and holding on for dear life. Well i have one opinion on this question!

Price in net = No playoffs
Halak in net = Make the playoffs

getting rid of carbo was the right choice except it was a little to late ,also i am one that wants to stick by carey but he just doesnt have it for whatever reasons so i will agree with letting halak try to run the table. I think we are capable of doing some damage but that is a big if goaltending has to be great because we dont score enough 5 on 5 and our powerplay doesnt bail us out anymore.This is typical habs hockey fly out of the gate and hang on for dear life its getting tiresome.Until we get some front line players we are always going to be were we are ,like it or not this team overachieved last year and people jumped on the bandwagon to fast expecting to much realistically this team is right were their supposed to be 7 or 8 .
