Rumor: Sens Getting an All-Star D-man from the West?

The Senators are talking trade with a few teams right now and as I reported on Saturday one of those deals is pretty big

from a source, "We are hearing that there is a deal on the table that would land an All-Star D-man from the Western Conference in Ottawa"

Looking into who that could be, and while my source would not confirm or deny the exact name, I have continually heard that Pronger is on the Senators radar....

However, I also continue to hear that Scott Niedermayer is telling the Ducks that he is leaning towards playing another season. If that is the case you would think the Ducks would want to hold onto Pronger.

I don't understand this rumour, like the leafs last year, not having a hope of making the playoffs, yet still looking to improve. This is the reason murray should be fired. He's just trying to hang on to his job? But then again it's eklund and his information is just as reliable as maggie the monkey on tsn.
