I got to watch the last period. Montreal squeaked out that victory, but a win is a win no matter how you take it. Halak made 46 saves, the majority of them in the third period when colorado at one point had 15-2 shots advantage. Brisebois, bouillion, kostistyn, and kostopolus scored for the habs. Leopold, and Arnason scored for the Avs. Montreal sat back in the third period leading 2-1 when colorado kept pouring on the pressure with Arnason eventually tying it 2-2. Montreal broke the tie late when Andrei kostistyn got a partial break and slide it between the legs of budai. Colorado pulled the goalie looking to tie it up had a 6-4 with georges in the box failed when koivu won the faceoff and kostopolus slapped a golf swing backhander that made the empty net on the far left corner. Hopefully Montreal will have the goaltending of halak again when they play Vancouver on Sunday night.

Price needs at least a week to work on his laterals and get 100% before going between the pipes again.
