Bruins taking a look at Kaberle
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Boston Globe reports the Bruins are among the teams Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Tomas Kaberle would accept a trade to.

Kaberle, who turns 31 on March 2, has a no-trade clause but provided Leafs GM Brian Burke a list of 10 teams he'd accept a trade to.

Burke has indicated that the reason for the list is that Kaberle has a window in his contract, starting on the day of the NHL Entry Draft through Aug. 15, where the Leafs can trade him without his consent if they miss the playoffs.

It's possible the Leafs try to move Kaberle now, but Burke told the Globe he won't pull the trigger "unless someone blows me away."

Kaberle has two more years left on his contract worth $4.25 million per season.
