Listened to the radio due to no satelite as I was preparing my livingroom to get new flooring layed down so if anybody has watched the game please tell me about it.

Kovalev returned after being told to sit down a couple of games definitely provided a spark as he recorded 4points in great effort as the habs downed the sens 5-3 at the bell centre.

The habs sounded like they let the foot off the gas when jumping out to a quick 4-0 lead when the sens responded with two quick goals. Brisebois put the nail in the coffin as he scored to make it 5-2 in the third, while heatley scored for the sens to put them within two, but the habs never looked back.

The lack of effort at times from the habs kept halak on his toes as he was holding the senators at bay in the third as they outshot montreal at one point 20-4.

Hopefully this will start a winning streak for the habs.

PostSubject: Sens / Habs....   Sun Feb 22, 2009 11:50 am

Shocking result ......

Sens fell asleep early in the game to go down 4 just as they did a couple days earlier against the " Can't-nuks "......

With a " minor " correction to the nail in the coffin in this game ....the Sens scored 2 to close the gap from 4-0 to 4-2 but late in the second, the Habs scored with under 30 seconds to put the game away ! That was the killer....well that and the fact that Ottawa has a hard time with what time most of their games start at......example if needed....game time 7:30....Sens start at
8:20 ....at least they get their rest...!!
